Sika® Cleaner P is a low-viscosity, solvent-based cleaning agent for non porous substrates.Sika® Cleaner P is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 quality assurance system and the respon-sible care program.Areas of ApplicationSika® Cleaner P can be used to remove foreign matter and con-taminants, such as grease, oil, dust and dirt from the surface of, for example, plastics, polyester powder-coated metals and PVDF-coated metals prior to the application of sealants and adhesives. Sika® Cleaner P is also suitable for cleaning glass and metal surfaces. It should only be used on non-porous substrates. The above information is offered for general guidance only. Advice on specific applications will be given on request.This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Test with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.Method of ApplicationIdeal application and surface tem-perature is between 15°C and 25°C (60 – 75°F).Use only clean, white, lint-free paper towels.Wet the paper towel with solvent by pouring the liquid onto the cloth. Never dip the paper towel into the cleaner as it may contaminate it!Wipe the surface with the wetted paper towel. Use fresh paper towels regularly in order to retain the cleansing power.Before the solvent dries on the surface (evaporates), wipe it off with a different clean, dry paper towel.Repeat the last two steps until no contaminants show up on a white paper towel.If cleaned parts are not bonded subsequently cover them in order to prevent new contamination.
