Strub Vulcogear Synt EP V5 PL 220 is a fully synthetic PAG-based lubricating oil (ISO VG 220) for high temperature lubrication up to 250 °C of heavily loaded helical bevel and planetary gears exposed to strong pressure loads.Main featuresVery favorable viscosity-temperature behavior (high viscosity index).Excellent high and low temperature characteristics, continuous use temperature to 200° C, peak temperatures up to 250° C. At 250° C, no significant tendency to silting and separation.High oxidation stability and low coefficient of friction.High load carrying capacity and excellent protection against wear.Compared to a mineral oil the same viscosity at the operating temperature lowers to 10 to 25° C.No tendency to foaming, very good air release. Very good rust and corrosion protection.Non-miscible with mineral oil.
